12/20/2013 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City Kyle showed improvements in the INF during his time at Pirate City. Defensively, Kyle has soft / sure hands, good actions, and he funnels the ball well. He has athletic movements, works the double play well, and throws with a fluid arm action to 1st base. To improve his defensive scores, Kyle can work on being more aggressive in his actions (getting rid of the ball quicker and eliminating the glove pat) but the natural athletic movements are apparent. On the mound, Kyle showed a FB with arm side run, he spots it well, and he shows the ability to field his position. Offensively, Kyle quick hands, good balance, and a consistent bat path. He swings in good rhythm, and uses his lower 1/2 well. Staying through the ball and using his lower half more while staying athletic throughout the swing will help his good hitting scores continue to improve. Kyle is a respectful player and will make a good addition to a college program following high school.
