09/26/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures West Hurt's combination of stuff and feel for pitching places him among the top right-handed pitchers in the 2017 class. He commanded his fastball to both sides of plate at 90-92 with arm side life and some sink. His changeup was his best secondary offering. He threw a high volume of strikes with it in the 78-81 mph range, and turned it over for diving sink. His breaking ball was 73-75 with 10-4 shape from his three-quarters arm angle, with the effectiveness coming more from his ability to use the pitch than on the action. His arm worked well back and through, and fit with his somewhat upright delivery to produce downward action on his fastball and changeup. Overall, a young right-hander with command of two plus pitches and feel for a developing third pitch.
