07/28/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Lance is a talented two way 3B/RHP who has been working to better his game. In the infield he shows athletic actions, taking good angles. He presents his glove out in front with soft hands. He shows a clean exchange with a strong arm that gets good carry on the ball. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot showing a fastball and curveball. He shows good tempo keeps his eyes on the target showing repeatable mechanics. He pounds the zone with both pitches, while not being afraid to pitch to contact. At the plate, Lance starts from an open stance and shows an aggressive approach. He implements his lower half well which helps him get through the zone quickly and make hard contact. With two years to still grow and develop, Lance is a prospect to watch.

06/19/2017 - College PREP - Katy (Houston), TX Lance is a hardworking 3B/RHP prospect who has a versatile skill set and graduates in 2019. Offensively, Lance has a tall, athletic setup with his weight in the front of his stance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and on-time, square stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Lance has an on-plane swing path that produces square contact. He shows good contact to the opposite field and the ability to drive the ball to each gap. At the hot corner, Lance plays with effective footwork and covers good ground in each direction laterally. He presents his glove and fields the ball in a square, low position. Lance plays with good momentum through the baseball and he throws with a loose arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. He throws have good carry across the diamond. On the mound, Lance has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He extends through his release and stays square to home plate with the proper stride length. Lance does a nice job rotating with his core as he finishes toward his target. He has creates good angles and depth with his full repertoire. Overall, Lance has a good approach on both sides of the ball and the talent to get even better.
