06/18/2016 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Landon is a strong corner infielder who showed well during his time at the Omaha National World Series. This righty can absolutely swing it and he can swing it with power. In the box, he has fluid rhythm to load with good hand separation. He tracks pitches out of the pitcher's hand, into the zone and off of the barrel. He whips the bat with speed and connects with pop with the baseball exploding off of his barrel (exit velocity = 89 mph). He puts the barrel on the ball consistently (collecting 3 singles and a double at the event). At 3B, Landon has active prep and works into an athletic fielding position. Transfer is smooth from glove to hand with strong throws across the diamond. Landon is a talented prospect who will make things happen when he steps onto the field.
