08/02/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18) Lee is an athletic 3B/RHP who plays the game the right way. He is a very coachable player who asks questions and makes adjustments quickly. At 3B, he shows active prep footwork and is aggressive to come and get the GB. He works around (from right to left) the GB, funnels smoothly and has a quick release to throw. At the plate, this RHH shows a balanced setup with fluid rhythm to load. Hands are quick through a level path as he connects and creates good extension through contact. He engages his lower 1/2 well which help to increase pop off of the barrel. He battles in every AB and proved to be a tough out. On the mound, Lee pounds the zone and challenges hitters to swing the bat. This RHP works to a tall/controlled balance point, has smooth separation, and drives downhill off of the rubber. FB shows arm-side run while still sitting in the upper 70's. Breaking ball shows to be his bets off-speed pitch with 11/5 shape, tight spin and sharp/late break. Changeup is thrown with FB arm speed helping to create deception while complimenting his FB well. Lee is a very talented player who has upside and will make an impact as he enters his junior year.
