01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Lennon showed well all over the diamond during his time at the Pre-Season AA. He is a talented 2-way prospect who hits well from both sides. At SS, Lennon has quick feet, soft hands, and he moves with agility to the baseball. He makes plays smoothly, his exchange is clean, and his arm is strong and accurate to his target. On the mound, Lennon has good balance, a clean arm circle, and he works in good rhythm. He has a FB that touches 85 MPH, and his CB compliments it well. Offensively, this switch-hitter has good aggressiveness, fast bat speed, and pop in his bat from both sides. He has quick hands, a level swing plane, and he works the ball gap to gap. Lennon is a solid player and one to keep your eye on!

09/22/2021 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Lennon continues to show as a prospect at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. In the MIF, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground in the MIF. At the plate, he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel. On the mound, he shows a controlled, repeatable delivery allowing his quick arm action to work well to the plate. Fastball showed a range of 80-82 mph. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with gradual break. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Lennon is a SS/RHP with a projectable frame with room to fill out. Defensively, Lennon continues to show smooth actions with the ability to throw from multiple arm angles accurately. He fields the ball with confidence and with proper technique. Offensively, he does a great job of staying inside the baseball. He attacks the middle of the field and has a mature approach. On the hill, Lennon has solid mechanics and attacks hitters. He showed command of his FB which topped out at 82 mph. His BB has an 11/5 action that was 71 mph. Lennon is a fun player to watch and with continuous improvement his future will be bright.

06/21/2021 - USA Baseball 17U Championships Lennon is a SS/RHP who will be graduating in the class of 2023. He shows off a tall and athletic body with room to continue to add weight. In the field, he shows good feet and works through the baseball. He does a good job of fielding the ball out front and off of his left foot. He showed lateral range multiple times throughout game action. On the bump, he works with good tempo and a clean arm action. Fastball works up to 83 MPH and is consistently thrown for strikes early in the count. Shows feel for 2 secondary pitches, curveball has 11-5 shape with some depth while his changeup has arm side run and is thrown for strikes. Threw 67% of his pitches for strikes and only gave up 1 weak hit in 3+ innings of work. At the plate, this switch hitter shows an aggressive approach and is willing to hit a fastball early in the count. He shows a good approach and will use the whole field. He competes well throughout at bats, especially with 2 strikes. Shows some pop from both side and had mid 80’s exit velos from both sides. Lennon is a good kid that will benefit from continued development.

05/25/2021 - 2021 BF National South Showcase Lennon continues to get more polish to his game each time we see him. He has developed into a quality prospect who fits an excellent profile as a switch-hitting shortstop. As a defender he has very sure hands and a quick exchange on all routine balls. He feet work well to get him into position and he has a strong, accurate arm across the diamond to finish plays. At the plate, he shows a similar approach from both sides, like most switch-hitters. He has natural rhythm and a subtle leg kick that put him on time and also allow him to make adjustments and still find the barrel. He has the foundation of a very good offensive players as he also has good strike zone discipline. Only a 2023 grad this is an exciting prospect to continue to watch.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - East) Lennon is a young and talented SS/RHP with a bright future. At SS, Lennon shows advanced actions for his age with a great frame and projectability. Fielding, he shows agile range with effective and smooth footwork as he ranges for the ball. Fielding he shows a confident glove fielding the ball out in front and makes fast exchanges as he works to throw. Across the diamond, Lennon delivers the ball with accuracy and carry anywhere around the field. Hitting, Lennon sets up in a slightly open stance with loose and comfortable hands. He keeps his weight centered as he gets his foot down getting the barrel on plane. His swing is smooth as he rotates his core using a gap-to-gap approach. Lennon shows continual improve and progress, we look forward to seeing his bright future ahead of him.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Richman is a very talented (6'1"/165) SS who continues to impress every time that he steps onto the diamond. At SS, he has quick/active footwork with + lateral range. Hands are soft with a smooth funnel/gather to a quick release. He has a ton of arm strength firing strong/accurate throws with backspin across the diamond. Offensively, this switch-hitter shows very well from both sides. He engages his lower 1/2 well generating good torque with pop off of the barrel to all parts of the field. He has great zone awareness and sees a lot of pitches, drawing 3 walks at the event. Lennon is only a 2023 grad and is an exciting prospect to keep an eye on over the next couple of years.

09/23/2020 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Lennon is a coachable SS prospect who showed well during the Arizona Fall Classic. In the field, Lennon shows smooth footwork and is agile moving to the ball with great first step quickness. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft, sure hands. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making accurate throws with strong carry across the diamond. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He gets his hands activated in his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid contact to all fields. Overall, Lennon is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Lennon is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who showed well during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Lennon takes a good first step and shows quick footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. He gets into a simple load and takes a short swing, leading to consistent contact. On the mound, Lennon gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Lennon shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with late arm side run. Breaking ball sits at 65mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Lennon is a talented prospect who should find success going into his freshman season.

10/16/2019 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Lennon is a SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Lennon shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate to his target. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting his hands activated in his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to solid line drives. On the mound, Lennon gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He stays inline towards the plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Lennon shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 64-66mph with good movement. Changeup sits from 65-70mph with late arm side run. Overall, Lennon is a solid prospect who should find success going into his freshman season.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Lennon is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Lennon gets into a low position and fields the ball with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a solid swing from both sides. He sets up in a tall stance and takes a soft stride. He is fluid getting into a simple load and rotates his core well, leading to solid contact. On the mound, Lennon starts with a simple rock step and gathers over the rubber. He separates his hands on time and works with a clean arm, staying inline towards the plate. Lennon shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph. Breaking ball sits at 58mph with 11-5 break. With four more years to develop, Lennon has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

07/22/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Lennon is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who continued to work hard on his skills during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Lennon shows active footwork and flashes good lateral range. He gets into an atheltic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. Lennon can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a solid swing from both sides. He sets up in a slightly open stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing and drives the ball up the middle. Lennon can improve as a hitter by getting his stride foot down earlier. On the mound, Lennon shows a good rhythm as he gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm action and extends through on his release, finishing square to his target. Lennon has a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 72mph. Breaking ball sits from 62-64mph with 9-3 break. Lennon can improve as a pitcher by keeping his eyes on target throughout his motion. With five more years to develop, Lennon has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

04/08/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Sanford (Orlando), FL Lennon showed nice improvements in the INF and on the mound during his last workout. At SS, Lennon fields smoothly, hands are clean, and footwork is quick. He moves well to the ball, his exchange is quick, and he throws with accuracy from a quick release to his target. On the mound, Lennon's FB touched 75 MPH, he works on a downhill plane, and he shows good command with his pitches. Offensively, Lennon continues to project better from the right side. He has solid actions, good balance, and a level/rhythmic swing. From the left, Lennon has solid separation, he makes square contact, and can spray to all fields. Lennon can improve with work on the following.

07/23/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Lennon continues to a promising future on the diamond. At the plate, shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. At SS, he displays proper footwork and moves well laterally. Hands are clean and presents well out front. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls but will benefit by playing through with his body. Range will continue to increase as he increases foot quickness. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 66 mph. Fastball showed a range of 68-72 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with early break. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

03/19/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Greenville, SC Lennon is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2023. Defensively at SS, he displays active footwork as he gets into a square fielding position. He presents his hands, gets rid of the ball with a clean exchange and makes accurate throws to his target. On the hill, this righty is a strike thrower delivering a 3-pitch mix. He stays balanced throughout his delivery as he works in line towards home plate. With the bat, Lennon presents a balanced setup in the box. He swings on a level path as he drives pitches on a line. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
