06/02/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Liam is a young, 2-way player who plays 2nd base and RHP. Defensively, Liam has active feet, he fields from the right, and he plays through the ball well. He keeps the ball in front of his body and delivers it with accuracy and momentum across the diamond. On the mound, Liam has good balance and a compact delivery. He separates his hands on time, gets good extension on his pitches, and he finishes in a complete position. Offensively, Liam has good balance, a square set-up, and he loads well. His swing is level and he gets his hands through the zone well. Liam can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Defense
1. Long toss
2. Quicken feet
3. Throwing
Pitching
1. Long toss
2. More lower body
Offense
1. Lower body

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
