04/10/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Plano (DFW), TX Liam is a young (2021 grad) R/R 2-way player as a C/OF. With the bat, this righty stands in well with a square setup with patience as he waits for his pitch. He barrels the ball up and looks to drive the middle of the field. Behind the plate, Liam sits in well and tracks pitches into a soft mitt. He is quick to block - working to center pitches in the dirt off of his chest. Exchange is clean with accurate throws down to 2B - pop times of 2.83. In the OF, he has active footwork and hustles to track down fly-balls hit to his right and left. He secures the fly-ball with 2-hands at it's highest point, gathers well and works in-line toward his target. Continuing to work on the following will help to improve his overall skill-set.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
