Loegen showed a spike in arm strength to 74 MPH, and in hitting numbers during his last workout. On the mound, this lefty has good balance, a free arm circle, and he separates his hands on time. He competes in the zone aggressively, he has a controlled landing toward home plate, and he finishes completely. Loegen's CB shows nice 1-7 shape with medium bite. Not rushing, using more lower body, and added arm strength will continue to help mound effectiveness improve. In the OF, Loegen has active feet, he tracks well with a quick 1st step, and he makes plays consistently. He plays through the ball well, shows a good crow hop, and has a consistent arm with carry to his target. Offensively, Loegen has a square/balanced set-up, a direct swing path, and he works the ball well gap to gap. He hits the ball the other way and he uses his lower body. Staying short and letting the ball travel deeper can help solid hitting get even better.

Loegen is a LHP/1B prospect who will graduate in 2022. On the mound, Loegen gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline towards the plate. Loegen shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 67mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 54-55mph with 2-8 break. Changeup sits from 59-61mph with arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Remaining balanced in his stride can help Loegen improve as a pitcher. In the field, Loegen shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into a low position and fields the ball with a firm glove. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Loegen can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a crouched stance and works to barrel up the baseball. Working a smoother load into his swing can help Loegen improve as a hitter. With three more years to develop, Loegen has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
