06/14/2014 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Logan showed his consistency on both sides of the ball, as well as some of his best numbers to date out at the Omaha National World Series. On the hill, he threw 3 pitches will good feel and free arm action. His CB had tight spin with 12/6 shape and he threw it with command. His CH was another sound pitch, being thrown with arm side run for strikes. He showed a good tempo, keeping the game moving along and repeating in the zone. In the infield, he was mechanically sound, worked around the ball, and had a quick first step. His hands were soft/sure and he fielded in front. Offensively, he was balanced, had a still head, and a simple approach that allowed him to make hard contact. He stays within his own ability and will improve with extension through contact. In all - Logan projects well as a pitcher at the next level with an ability to compete at a high level, pounding the zone and changing speeds.
