05/24/2014 - Little League® Experience Logan is a very nice young man with a lot of athleticism and a big upside. As a fielder he displayed the ability to be exceptional but needs to work hard on the fundamentals. More specifically he needs to improve footwork, basic fielding position and body control. At the plate Logan showed a nice middle approach and good rhythm. Improvement can be made by letting the ball travel into the proper hitting zone, driving the backside (not just spinning) and getting more extension on finish. Logan was one of the top athletes in Williamsport and possesses all the natural ability to be a very good player if he continues to work hard.

01/26/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Delray Beach, FL Logan is a R/R who plays SS. Defensively, he hustles and works hard to get into a square fielding position. He tracks the ball into his mitt and works in-line toward 1B on his throws. At the plate, Logan shows a square setup and he tracks the ball into the zone. He has a middle of the field approach and squares the ball up. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
