01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament The 6'4, 210-pound Britt was announced as a 2018 Under Armour All-American and proceeded to show why. He is a tremendous athlete with loud tools on display across the board. He ran a 6.80 in the 60 (we've seen him as low as 6.52) and was outstanding in the workouts. His loose, easy right-handed swing generated hard contact with line drives to all parts of the park. He recorded an exit velocity of 100 mph and showed some hard contact in games as well as advanced strike-zone discipline. Defensively, he has the speed and arm to play in any of the OF spots. His 96 mph arm strength plays with carry and accuracy. Overall, this Texas A&M recruit is one of the highest ceiling players in the country.

11/04/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures Texas Logan put on another impressive display at a Baseball Factory event while participating in the Futures Texas. He began the day running a 6.61 in the 60-yard dash and followed that up with an extremely loud batting practice session. His loose RH swing produced a mix of bat speed and leverage that had the ball coming off his bat with a different sound than most. Logan hit line drives that jumped off the wood he was swinging and carried to the fence in a split second. It translated to game play, where he had several hard hit balls while going 1-4. Overall, Logan has a rare mix of speed and power on an athletic 6'4"/205-pound frame that makes him an elite prospect.

06/06/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Logan continues to show a promising future on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. In the OF (a 6.52 runner) not many balls get down that are hit his way. Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips (94 mph velocity) throws on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. A RHH - he stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (95 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field.

01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Logan is a tall/strong (6'4"/200) OF who is fun to watch. As a hitter, this righty steps into the box with a purpose. He has fluid rhythm to load and is ready to fire. Hands are quick generating plus bat speed to and through the zone as he connects and drives the ball with pop. The ball explodes off of his barrel as he sprays the deep parts of the park. In the OF, Britt shows active footwork and moves well on the balls of his feet. He works behind and through the ball aggressively, gaining ground toward his target. Throws have zip with strength and accuracy into his target. This 2019 grad will sure turn some heads and garner attention with his skills on the diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
