Behind the plate, he has an easy sit, with quick feet, and good agility. Works with good direction towards second base as he replaces his feet and throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Made accurate throws to 2nd base as he recorded an arm velocity up to 80mph and a best pop time of 2.21 seconds. At the plate, he hits from a tall and open stance with high hands. He hits into a firm front side and gets on-plane early. During his round of BP, he hit line drives consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
