01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Logan is an absolute stud catching prospect who will graduate in 2024. During this event, Logan would show great defensive work behind the plate posting some of the highest ratings in his receiving and blocking that we saw at this event. We felt he looked very comfortable in his stance, smooth as he received the ball and quick/clean with his blocking footwork. With an impressive 80 mph raw velocity and quick exchange as he threw to 2nd, Logan posted a 2.13 pop time. This was one of the best times recorded at this event. Not only did he impress behind the dish, but Logan also showed his power off at the plate. Showing it from both sides was even more impressive. His fluid hands, and centered approach helped Logan provide a consistent approach at the plate. Overall, we were extremely impressed with not only Logans' skill set, but also the baseball IQ he possesses. Keep your eye out for him in the future.

10/14/2020 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Logan continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, he is a vocal leader who takes charge. He presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest as he is a wall not letting anything get by. Receiving/blocking skills are quality tools that will play well at the next level. Throws are accurate with carry and pop times remaining in the low 2's. Offensively, he continues to show as a switch hitter with solid abilities from both sides. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 2 for 9 with 3 RBIs. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and a leader behind the dish. Dichler is one to keep any eye on over the next few years.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
