01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Logan is a C/3B out of Creston, OH who will graduate in 2024. Tall frame, with broad shoulders, athletic build with strength present and room to add more strength. Behind the dish, easy sit who showed good agility and quiet actions. Gains ground with good direction towards second base.Creates good blocking angles and displayed a soft chest as he deaden balls. Showed a quick arm with accurate/online throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and a best pop time of 2.03 seconds. A right-handed hitter, hits from an even stance. Uses lower half with good balance through contact and a fast bat. Flat bat path who made square contact and hit balls into both gaps. Reached base 3 times with a recorded bat exit velocity of 89mph during live game action. With 2 1/2 more years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

10/06/2021 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Logan is a strong C/3B is the 2024 class out of Creston, OH. Defensively, Logan was comfortable behind the dish with a low athletic stance. He received well by presenting the glove and having soft hands. On his throw downs, he exhibited a quick exchange with carry on the baseball through 2B. Offensively, he showed the ability to stay balanced and on plane throughout the mechanic. He has a line drive approach but could benefit from doing strike zone recognition drills. Dichler keeps showing improvements and with continued progression is a player that will end up on college coaches radar.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Logan is an absolute stud catching prospect who will graduate in 2024. During this event, Logan would show great defensive work behind the plate posting some of the highest ratings in his receiving and blocking that we saw at this event. We felt he looked very comfortable in his stance, smooth as he received the ball and quick/clean with his blocking footwork. With an impressive 80 mph raw velocity and quick exchange as he threw to 2nd, Logan posted a 2.13 pop time. This was one of the best times recorded at this event. Not only did he impress behind the dish, but Logan also showed his power off at the plate. Showing it from both sides was even more impressive. His fluid hands, and centered approach helped Logan provide a consistent approach at the plate. Overall, we were extremely impressed with not only Logans' skill set, but also the baseball IQ he possesses. Keep your eye out for him in the future.

10/14/2020 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Logan continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, he is a vocal leader who takes charge. He presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest as he is a wall not letting anything get by. Receiving/blocking skills are quality tools that will play well at the next level. Throws are accurate with carry and pop times remaining in the low 2's. Offensively, he continues to show as a switch hitter with solid abilities from both sides. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. At the event, he was 2 for 9 with 3 RBIs. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and a leader behind the dish. Dichler is one to keep any eye on over the next few years.

09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament Logan is a C prospect who showed well during the All-Region Tournament. Behind the plate, Logan shows active footwork and is agile moving to block. He sits in an athletic stance and receives with soft hands. He has a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through the 2B bag. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He is fluid getting back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and gap to gap power. Overall, Logan is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/30/2020 - Summer Pro Training Experience - MD (HS) Logan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, he improved his hitting abilities from the right side, now showing well above average. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact with power showing best to the pull side. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer/exchange. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front and utilizes his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Receiving/blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well.

Exclusive College Recruiting Program A physical, strong C with a frame to continue to add strength as he matures. A solid receiver with athleticism behind the plate. His hands work while receiving with strong wrists to control the baseball, agile with mobility to move laterally in blocking and a strong with a quick release, footwork is solid, can continue to develop his accuracy. A switch hitter who is more natural from the RH side with strength in his swing and present pull side power and CF power. Shows balance and bat speed which will continue to improve as he matures. Profiles as a above average potential defender, with power at the plate and present potential for switch hitting ability. Strong work ethic and an outstanding student with a 3.8 GPA.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Logan continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, feet are active as he gains ground and works through a clean/transfer exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest pop time to date at 2.16. Throws display accuracy with times continuing to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Hands are soft as he lets the ball travel and tracks well, sticking in the zone. He shows off his athletic abilities through the blocking process, as he is a wall behind the dish. Receiving/blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He utilizes his lower half well and makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Power does show best from the left side.

12/28/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Pittsburgh, PA Logan showed very well both offensively and defensive during his last workout in Pittsburgh. He is a talented catcher with a bright future from both sides of the plate. Defensively, he has active feet, soft hands, and he sits in low. Logan blocks very well, uses his body, and throws with accuracy to 2nd base. Offensively, Logan is equally as good from both sides. From the left, he has an open stance, a proper load, and good balance. He has good bat speed and pop potential. From the right side, Logan has a compact swing, fluid timing, and he makes consistent contact using his lower body.

10/19/2019 - Mid Atlantic Regional Pitching/Catching & Offensive Skills Combined Weekend (Ages 12-14) Logan is a coachable C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. Behind the plate, Logan sits in an athletic stance and receives with soft hands. He is smooth moving to block and centers the ball in the middle of his body. At the plate, this switch hitter sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He gets his hands activated on time and is explosive driving his lower half through. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap pop. Overall, Logan is a talented prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

07/21/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Logan continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer/exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times showed in the 2.40 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he continues to build more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and receives the ball well. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter but projects best as a RHH. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact, showing a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude and good instincts and plays with a lot of energy.

07/15/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Avon (Cleveland), OH Logan worked out behind the plate and at 3rd base during his last workout with The Factory. He increased radar velocity (72 MPH), exit velocity (75 MPH), and improved defensive grades. Behind the plate, Logan has quiet actions, he sits in low, and he presents his glove well. He has a soft chest blocking, gains ground, and throws with momentum to 2nd base. At 3rd, Logan has good pre-pitch actions, and he fields the baseball out in front of his body. He fields squarely, makes plays consistently, and throws with accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, Logan is a switch hitter and is equally as good from both sides. From the right, Logan has good balance, a still head, and a direct swing path; working the middle of the field. From the left, Logan stands in relaxed, he has a good bat angle, and he makes square/level contact. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

He gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and strong through the 2B bag. Logan shows quick footwork and centers the ball when blocking. Logan can improve as a C by long tossing to build up his arm strength. With five more years to develop, Logan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
