Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • CFPosition Projection

Exclusive College Recruiting Program Logan is a 2025 LH hitting OF from the state of Maryland. His bat standouts with a compact and quick swing geared to drive the middle of the field consistently. His balance and feel for his barrel shows his advanced hit tool and he has pull side power that is continuing to develop. There is a strong offensive profile with him. A 6.8 runner with instincts he has the potential to stick as a CF at the next level where his accurate arm will handle the position. Overall the combination of advanced left handed hitting profile with middle of the diamond defensive position makes Logan a strong follow for college programs.

12/27/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Gambrills, MD Logan is a class of 2025 OF/RHP prospect. He features a decently athletic frame with room to grow as he matures. In the outfield, he shows off a good ability to make routine plays. Does a good job tracking the baseball into his glove and keeps the ball in front of him. Shows good throws with some carry into the infield. At the plate, he hits from an even and athletic stance. Does a good job keeping a repeatable stride and keeping balanced throughout his swing. Does a good job keeping his hands inside the ball and getting extension out front. Shows the ability to hit the ball to all fields and had exit velos up to 75 MPH. On the mound, he shows clean mechanics with the ability to repeat at times. Does a good job getting into his lower 1/2 and trying to work downhill. Best pitch was his fastball that was in the 64-65 MPH range. Also showed feel for a slider with 10-4 shaped action. Logan is a good player that we hope to see again as he continues to develop.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
