01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Logan is a strong, athletic 1B who showed as a prospect at the Under Armour Pre Season All American Tournament. At the plate, he displays tremendous hitting / power potential through a tall setup. Hands are quick (92 mph exit velocity) generating bat speed to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight from backside into a firm front. At 1B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are firm and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Range is a plus as he utilizes his foot quickness (7.28 60 time) in covering ground. Throws are accurate with online zip (83 mph velocity) to his target. Logan has a big upside and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
