01/18/2019 - 2019 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Logan continues to show a promising future on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best to time to date. At 2B, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 71-75 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 12/6 shape with downward break. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

09/26/2018 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Logan is a coachable 2B/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Arizona Freshman Fall Classic. In the field, Logan shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange with a quick release on his throws, keeping them accurate with good carry through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He takes a short swing with decent bat speed which leads to square contact and line drives. On the mound, Logan gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose, clean arm and stays inline towards the plate. Logan shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 77mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 60-62mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Logan is a talented prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Logan is an athletic 2022 SS/RHP prospect with a high baseball IQ. At SS, Logan has an active prep step and presents a low/early glove. He works from the ground up and has a clean exchange. At the plate, Logan loads his hands back into the launch position and has pre pitch rhythm in his body. He uses his backside and attacks the inside part of the ball which allows him to get extension through contact. His simple approach allows him to drive the ball to all fields. On the bump, Logan separates on time, rides his back leg toward the plate, and has good arm action. Continuing to get stronger and developing his secondary pitches will elevate his game to the next level. Logan is a hard worker and we hope to see his progress in the future.

07/18/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Logan continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities are now well above average as he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are aggressive in attacking balls and plays through more with his body. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turns of the double play. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 63-66 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with early break. Stock on the mound will increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be. He is a versatile player that can play many positions.

02/26/2017 - College PREP - Waco, TX Logan is an athletic SS/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path, creating extension. He works to stay inside the ball with gap-to-gap pop. In the MIF, he displays clean / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and presents a soft / sure glove well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his turn / feeds of the double play. Range will increase as he improves his foot quickness. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable allowing his arm action to work free to the plate. He shows good tempo through a strong balance point. Fastball showed a range of 64-66 mph with tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 6 years to further develop, Logan has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
