10/26/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures South Logan is an athletic RHP who is a top prospect on the mound. Delivery is sound/repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 87-90 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with late/sharp downward break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup and shows a plus feel for the pitch with sinking action. Off speed pitches show as outstanding pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. With 2 years to further develop, Logan has upside on the bump and will get looks from top college coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

05/28/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South Logan is a tall RHP prospect who will graduate in 2021. On the mound, Logan gathers over the rubber and works with a loose arm. He stays inline towards the plate and finishes with a controlled landing. Logan shows a quality three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 88mph with good arm side run. Breaking ball sits from 72-75mph with late 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 73-75mph with good arm side run as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Logan is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his junior season.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
