06/07/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Bowie, MD Logan is a C prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. Behind the plate, Logan sits in a good primary stance and tracks the ball into his glove. He gives great effort to block and keeps the ball in front of him. He stays directional to throw and keeps his throws accurate to the 2B bag. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Logan improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and works to barrel up the baseball, driving the ball to the opposite field. Logan can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. With four more years to develop, Logan has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

05/07/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Bowie, MD Logan is a C/3B who will graduate in 2024. Behind the plate, he displays a solid setup with active feet. He sticks pitches in the zone and comes up with a clean exchange to throw. Over at 3B, he gives high energy and isn't afraid to get dirty. He gets into a square position and fields GB's with a soft glove. At the plate, Logan uses a middle of the field approach. He utilizes his lower 1/2 as he takes aggressive hacks through the zone. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Infield
1. Lateral range
2. Play through the ball
3. Arm strength (long toss)
Catching
1. Present low target
2. Quicker exchange to throw
3. Accurate throws
Offense
1. Develop rhythm
2. Improve bat speed
3. Stay balanced through contact

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
