09/01/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Evansville, IN Logan is a young, solid, 2-way player who catches and plays 3rd base. Behind the plate, Logan tracks the ball well, he sits in squarely, and holds a nice target. He keeps the ball in front when blocking, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a short arm action to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 3.0 seconds. At 3B, Logan has good pre-pitch actions, he fields squarely, and the ball sticks to his glove. He has a clean exchange and a consistent arm across the diamond. Offensively, Logan has a square stance, good balance, and he shows fast bat speed. He stays inside the ball well and hits hard to the pull side. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
