03/24/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Oklahoma City, OK Logan worked out at SS and on the mound during his last workout with The Factory. Defensively, Logan creates a good fielding angle through active feet. He covers ground well, has soft hands, and a quick exchange with carry and accuracy across the diamond. On the mound, Logan has an athletic presence, good balance, and he separates on time. He gets good extension, has a controlled landing toward the plate, and he repeats his delivery well. Offensively, Logan has an athletic set-up, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He makes square/on-plane contact, and gets the barrel through the zone. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Defense
1. Arm slot
2. Backhand
3. Get to ball sooner
Pitching
1. Arm action
2. Finish
3. CH
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Swing path

11/05/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Plano (DFW), TX Logan is a young (2023 grad) 2-way player as a SS/RHP. Defensively in the MIF, he displays active footwork and is aggressive to come and get the GB. He works through the ball, gathers well and has a clean exchange to throw. With the bat, this lefty displays an upright stance with rhythm to load. He lets the ball travel into the zone and barrels it up, looking to drive the middle of the field. On the mound, Logan has a 3-pitch mix (FB, CB, CH) coming from a high 3/4 arm slot. Separation is smooth and he keeps his eyes on the target. FB tops out at 57 mph while breaking ball has 11/5 shape. CH shows some sink as he works to keep it down in the zone. Continuing to work on the following will help to improve his skills on the diamond.

Defense
1. Work from the ground-up
2. DP footwork
3. Lateral quickness
Offense
1. Bat speed
2. Contact points
3. More lower 1/2 drive

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
