Luke only showed in the OF at the event and continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.43 runner. He utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in tracking to down balls through proper routes / angles as he works to get behind. For defensive grade to continue to improve, he needs to reads balls better off the bat and be more aggressive, taking chances. Throws are accuracy as he gets rid of the baseball quickly but needs by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, Beveridge shows a crouched / squared setup with rhythm. Hands are loose and work through an uphill swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields. For hitting grades to continue to improve, he needs to improve barrel accuracy and work to level out swing path. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great attitude and is very coachable.
