01/12/2018 - 2018 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Marc is a MIF who can swing it. At the plate - he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack - crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 92 mph). At SS, he has plus lateral range, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws (93 mph velocity) zipping across the diamond. A projectable MIF - Marc will play at a very high level and make an immediate impact.

06/10/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National South This athletic MIF shows a tremendous future on the diamond. A RHH- hands are quick (91 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. He has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. Defensively, he takes a quick first step and has plus lateral range. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip on his throws (91 mph velocity). Defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows big play potential. Marc has a ton of upside and possesses the skill-set that will play at a very high level.

02/26/2017 - College PREP - Atlanta, GA Marc continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. In the MIF, hands / feet work well through the fielding process through a low approach. Feet are aggressive as he attack balls and presents a sure glove well out front. He gets rid of the baseball quick with life, accuracy, and on line carry across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) and generate bat speed to and through the point of contact, creating extension. He has strength in his swing and shows plus barrel accuracy with baseball exploding off the bat when centered.

01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Marc continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a tremendous future on the diamond. Defensive abilities at SS are now outstanding, displaying fluid / smooth actions. Feet are active as he moves well laterally and plays with a ton of energy. He shows big play potential in the MIF. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process and he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and on line carry to his throws. At the plate, hitting potential has improved as well. Hands works inside the baseball as he utilizes all fields. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball jumping off the bat when centered, displaying gap to gap pop. Marc has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

08/03/2016 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Marc is a high energy player who is a very positive teammate. A primary 2nd baseman, he is light on his feet, playing low and creating good angles on ground balls to come up and make accurate throws to 1st base. Playing with lower hips to present his glove out in front sooner will help with ground ball skills. At the plate, he has quick hands which allows him to barrel balls up consistently and turn on inside pitches. Avoiding wrapping his bat while loading and using his lower 1/2 during his swing will help with power to all fields. Marc is an exciting young prospect who will catch the eyes of college coaches as he gets older.

06/05/2016 - College PREP - Peachtree City (Atlanta), GA Marc is a lean, athletic 2B who has a promising future on the diamond. At 2B, feet are aggressive as he moves well laterally, displaying range in the MIF. Glove action is soft / sure but will benefit by presenting more out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. At the plate, he shows a squared / balanced setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he works to utilize his lower half more efficiently. With 2 years to further develop, Marc has potential with time and room to continue to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
