02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Marc continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is firm and presents out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. He gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry (84 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 79-82 mph with sink. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

12/18/2020 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Marc continues to show improvements in all his baseball tools and has a bright future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.38 runner. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At 3B, defensive abilities are now well above average as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry (84 mph velocity) across the diamond. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 82 mph. Fastball showed a range of 80-82 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed with sin. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

02/16/2020 - College PREP - Cypress (Los Angeles), CA Marc is an athletic and lean 2023 2-way prospect. At 1B, Marc is on time with his prep step, he works off the bag well, and he makes accurate throws. At the plate, Marc starts in an athletic stance, he loads his hands back into the drive position, and he gets to a balanced position. He has quick hands, he rotates his backside, and he looks to drive the ball to the pull side. On the bump, Marc gathers over the rubber, he separates on time, and he has a clean arm action. He throws his fastball for strikes, he has a 10-4 break on his curveball, and he has some feel for his changeup. Marc is highly motivated and we hope to see his progress in the future.

10/18/2019 - 2019 UA SoCal Classic Underclass Participant Tall frame, Durable build, Long arms, Long legs, Room for added development growth potential, Future 3B, Below average runner, Offense: Slightly open stance, Upright bat, Hands drop, Short swing, Slight uppercut bat plane, Future potential hitting ability.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
