11/03/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Potomac, MD Marc is a young, thin, 2-way player who catches and plays SS. Behind the plate, Marc has quiet actions, he looks the ball into his glove, and his hands are soft. He has a clean exchange and a 3/4 arm slot to his target. Pop times were as low as 3.59 seconds. At SS, Marc has active feet, soft hands, and he field low and athletically. He gives good effort, makes plays, and throws with accuracy and momentum across the diamond. Offensively, Marc has an athletic stance, he strides toward the pitcher, and hits with some strength to the pull side. He will need to work on the following in order for skills to improve.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
