05/14/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Poughkeepsie, NY Marco is a C/SS who will graduate in 2021. Behind the plate, he shows a solid/wide base staying in a low position. He receives the pitch with soft hands, earning strikes and fires throws down to 2B with a quick release. At SS, he presents his hands and tries to work into a square fielding position. He has a clean exchange turning smooth DP's and releases throws with loose arm action. With the stick, Marco displays a quiet/athletic setup. He uses his lower 1/2, whips his barrel quickly through the zone and drives pitches from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
