07/11/2020 - All-In Membership - San Antonio, TX Marco is a skilled, switch hitting MIF who graduates in 2022. With the bat, he displays an athletic setup with centered balance and fluid rhythm to load. He keeps a quiet head and tracks pitches into the zone and off of his barrel. Swing is smooth as he engages his lower 1/2, squaring the ball up and hitting line-drives. At 2B, he is aggressive and comes to get the ball. He presents his glove, fields the ball out in front and has a quick/clean transfer to throw. DP feeds and turns are quick/efficient. Marco has a solid all-around skill-set with upside on the diamond as he approaches his junior year.

05/21/2017 - Interactive Video Program - San Antonio, TX Marco is a SS who will graduate in 2022. Defensively at SS, he displays quick footwork with athletic actions. He fields GB's with soft hands and comes up with a quick exchange to throw. With the bat, this switch hitter shows an athletic setup with a smooth load. He whips his barrel on a direct path quickly through the zone and drives pitches on a line from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
