01/18/2013 - Baseball Factory Spring Training at the Yankees Training Complex Marcos is a solid player that has the ability to play two positions. On the mound, Marcos shows smooth actions with a simple repeatable delivery. He shows an idea of how to hold runners mixing up his looks, but could pick up the tempo a little bit. His balance point is controlled with level shoulders and a complete finish. From the stretch he can benefit by breaking his hands earlier or develop a bit higher of a leg kick. In the field, Marcos is sure handed with a good feel for routes and angles. His throws are accurate with good carry, he will improve by reaching a lower fielding position with his hands further out in front. Offensively, Marcos shows a good feel for both sides of the plate. His right handed swing is stronger at the moment but has the ability to swing from the left side. Marcos shows good barrel control from both sides and can increase power by using more of his lower half. Overall, he is a stand up kid who is very coachable and has a bright future in the game of baseball.
