12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Mark is an athletic and versatile 2B/C, who showed tremendous hustle and a good baseball IQ in his time in Pirate City. In the infield, he showed feet which were active in getting him into a position to field the baseball in the center of his body and out in front. He also showed good range to his left and right; backhand and forehand were solid. Behind the plate, Mark stayed under control to block balls in the dirt properly to keep them in front of him, along with an accurate arm. Offensively, he showed a patient and contact oriented approach, which allowed him to consistently get the pitch he wanted. He did a good job of using all fields, a product of his good balance, rhythm, and load. Extending his arms through contact will help with power to all fields. Overall, Mark is a student of the game, who shows a passion to get better every time he steps on the field.
