Mark continues to progress in his game. At the plate, he remains balanced throughout his swing and squares the ball up consistently. He drives the ball creating hard contact as he uses the whole field. At 3B, he works into a square fielding position and looks the ball into his mitt. On the bump, this RHP has a repeatable delivery as he works in-line toward the plate. FB now tops out at 76 mph as he works to get on top of the pitch. Knuckleball shows some dance and can be a tough pitch to hit. Following through and finishing on his pitches will help to improve mound effectiveness. A 2016 grad - Mark will only continue to develop his game and get to where he wants to be.

Mark is a young, 3B/ RHP with average size. Defensively, Mark has playable hands and feet, and good his direction is solid. He tries to keep the ball in front, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a loose arm action across the diamond. Mark will need to soften his glove, field lower, and add arm strength for defense to get better. On the mound, Mark has a loose arm action, level shoulders, and he has good direction toward home. If Mark can get his lower 1/2 through, and develop off-speed pitches, abilities on the mound will improve. At the plate, Mark has a tall / square set-up, a short stride, and good balance. He has a level swing, average bat speed, and he gets his lower 1/2 through. An earlier front foot and more consistent barrel accuracy will drive hitting numbers upward.
