07/10/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National East Mark is a big/strong RHP with good stuff on the hill. He topped out at 89 MPH, showing a good mound presence, a loose arm action, and good direction toward home. Mark separates on time, lands with a proper stride, and pounds the zone with his pitches. He works downhill and gets the all he can out of his FB (89 mph). CB is a solid out pitch (complimenting his FB well) with 10/4 shape and late/sharp action. Mark (6'7"/240) will challenge hitters and will compete at a high level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
