02/20/2022 - All-In Membership - Walnut Creek, CA Max is an OF/2B prospect who will graduate in 2026. In the field, Max shows active footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is quick and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes his stride on time. He shows smooth rhythm and hits against a strong front side. He works through a level swing and sprays the ball to all fields. Overall, Max is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
