11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Max is a tall/athletic SS/RHP with good overall skills. Defensively, Max has fluid actions, quick feet, and he moves with agility to the baseball. He makes plays, fields cleanly, and he throws with carry and accuracy from a short arm action across the diamond. On the mound, Max has a clean/quick arm action, good balance, and a repeatable delivery. He has good direction toward the plate, competes in the zone, and his off-speed compliment his FB well. More lower 1/2 and keeping his eyes on target longer will only help mound abilities get even better. At the plate, Max has a square stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has quick hands, fast bat speed, and he works the ball well gap to gap. Hitting can get better with more load and by letting the ball travel deeper.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
