08/17/2021 - All-In Membership - Colorado Springs, CO Max is a 3B prospect who will graduate in 2022 who continues to improve his overall skillsets. Tall frame athletic build and plenty of physical projection remaining. At 3B, he starts with active/efficient footwork with good lateral movement. Creates good fielding angles and ability to pick out hops in an athletic/square fielding position. Clean transfer into a 3/4 slot with accurate/on-line throws across diamond at 86mph. A right-handed hitter hits from an upright and open stance. On-time swing, with good extension, and has strength at contact. Showed good barrel control as he hit balls into both gaps. Showed a great lower ½ and lots of power potential with a bat exit velocity of 97mph. With continued growth and development, Kevin should have a bright future on the baseball field.

10/06/2019 - College PREP - Parker (Denver), CO Max is a stocky 1B that graduates in 2022. At 1B, Max shows active footwork with good awareness around the bag. He shows agile range to the glove and back hand sides fielding the ball athletically. His exchanges are clean as he works with a short arm action getting rid of the ball quickly making consistent, online throws. At the plate, Max sets up in an athletic stance getting a good load and striding square towards the pitcher. His rhythm is smooth as he rotates on a firm front side as he works to get on plane. Max has a solid frame and several years to develop that could set him up to be a solid player at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
