07/29/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Michael is an athletic 2-way player (OF/RHP) who worked hard on his skills during his time in Pirate City. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and tracks down fly-balls aggressively. He secures the ball with 2-hands, gathers well and fires accurate throws into his target. As a hitter, this righty has a balanced approach with rhythm to load. He proved to be a tough out as he battles deep into the count. He gets on base consistently as he drew 3 walks and got hit by the pitch twice. Engaging and driving his lower 1/2 more will result in increased power at the plate. On the mound, Michael throws just a FB from a high 3/4 arm slot. He works to a tall balance point, maintains level shoulders and strides in-line toward the dish. Earlier separation and more glove side lead will help to improve abilities on the mound. Only a 2017 grad - Alack still has time to work hard and develop his tools to get where he wants to be.
