07/17/2018 - College PREP - Trenton, NJ Michael is a strong catcher with a solid frame. Defensively, Michael has quick feet, firm hands, and he sits-in squarely. He sits-in comfortably, keeps it in front when blocking, and throws from a quick exchange with accuracy to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.10. If Michael can play more through the ball on his throws, defensive numbers can get better. At the plate, Michael has a square/athletic set-up, he loads well, and makes hard/consistent contact. He has good balance, fast bat speed, and he uses his lower body. Hitting can spike with more direct hands to the ball and a better finish.
