12/27/2018 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 14-18)
Michael is an athletic and talented 2021 2-way prospect that was focused on getter better all week. At SS, Michael is on time with his prep step, he has easy actions to the ball, and works from the ground up. He needs to continue to build arm strength and improve his first step to the ball. At the plate, Michael starts in a squared stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and controls his barrel. He needs to continue to attack the inside part of the ball, create backside drive with his lower half, and stay in his legs. On the bump this week Michael had two appearance with 4 total innings that included 5 strikeouts. He gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and is not afraid to pitch inside. He needs to continue to work off the fastball and mix in his changeup down in the zone. Michael is a hard worker and we hope to see his progress in the future.
