07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Michael is a coachable OF/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Michael shows efficient footwork and is agile covering ground. He fields with sure hands and has a clean exchange. He gains ground well on his throws and works to keep them accurate to his target. Getting into a lower fielding position can help Michael field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid line drives. Michael can improve his timing at the plate by getting his stride foot down sooner. On the mound, Michael gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, finishing with his chest over his front knee. Michael operates with a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 75mph with good movement. Breaking ball sits at 65mph with 10-4 break. Striding inline toward the plate can help Michael improve his pitch command. With four more years to develop, Michael has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
