In the field, Michael shows efficient footwork and covers ground well. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and gap to gap power. On the mound, Michael gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and stays inline toward the plate, finishing square to his target. Michael shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 69-70mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Michael is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
