12/11/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Delray Beach, FL Michael raised arm velocity to 82 MPH and showed good skills on the mound during his last workout in Delray Beach. Michael has good balance over the rubber, a clean arm circle, and on-time hand separation. He keeps his eyes on target well, gets good extension on his pitches, and finishes in a complete position toward his target. Michael has good off-speed pitches and competes well in the zone.

09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Michael is a 2024 prospect out of Winter Springs, FL who continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth/athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, hitting/power potential has improved through a balanced setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 74-76 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late breaking action. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

08/16/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Daytona Beach, FL Michael is a 2024 RHP/SS prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. On the mound, Michael shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 72mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 65-68mph with 9-3 break. Changeup sits from 63-64mph with sinking action. Gathering to a balance point over the rubber can help Michael improve as a pitcher. In the field, Michael fields with a firm glove and makes accurate, on-line throws to his target. Michael can improve defensively by getting into a more athletic fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He tracks the ball well and maintains balance throughout his swing, producing solid contact to his pull side. Working a smoother load into his swing can help Michael improve as a hitter. With four more years to develop, Michael has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and gets into a smooth load. He takes a level swing and makes consistent contact. Michael can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. On the mound, Michael gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and accelerates through his release. Michael shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 66mph. Breaking ball sits from 57-58mph with 11-5 break. Changeup sits from 55-57mph as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
