03/11/2012 - College PREP - Greensboro, NC St. Clair showed similar abilities as we had previously seen at Pirate City Camp / Tournament. He is a corner infielder with clean hands. Feet are active but needs to be more aggressive in attacking groundballs and presenting hands more out front to continue to improve defensive grades. Throws are accurate but needs to build more arm strength / carry through a long toss program. At 3B, he makes the plays and shows a clean exchange. At the plate is where Mickey shows the best through an athletic / balanced setup. Hands are quick, generating bat speed through a level swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields as he shows a feel for the barrel.
