Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • RHP/OFPosition Projection

10/03/2021 - All-In Membership - Trenton, NJ Milaan is a RHP/OF prospect who will graduate in 2028. On the mound, Milaan separates his hands on time and works inline toward the plate. He operates with a four pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 44mph. Breaking ball sits from 40-43mph with 9-3 break. Sinker sits at 40mph. Changeup sits from 41-42mph. Gathering to a balance point over the rubber can help Milaan improve his pitch command. In the field, Milaan makes the routine plays and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Milaan can field ground balls more efficiently by getting into a more athletic fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and gets back into his load well. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid contact. Maintaining center balance throughout his swing can help Milaan create more consistent contact. With seven more years to develop, Milaan has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
