Miles is a solid 3B/2B that played with confidence at the hot corner. He plays with relaxed actions as he shows range to the glove and back hand side. He gets his glove in front of him, making clean exchanges as he works toward the target. His arm action is loose creating accurate throws with carry. Hitting, Miles has comfortable hands as he starts his load keeping his stride under control and rotates well as he gets his foot down. His bat is smooth and fast making consistent line drive contact to all fields. Miles was a hard-working player that improved every day of the event.

Miles is a wirery 3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At 3B, Miles shows active footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into a square position and fields with a firm glove. He makes a quick exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws consistently on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a crouched stance and takes a short stride. He is smooth getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and line drives. Overall, Miles is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.
01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
Miles is a talented athlete who showed well again during his time at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Defensively, he shows active prep on the balls of his feet and moves right and left quickly. Hands are presented out in front as he tracks the ball into a soft mitt and gather well. Transfer is smooth with accuracy on his throws. At the plate, this RHH displays a balanced setup with loose hands. He has fluid rhythm to load, swings on a level path and squares the ball up, driving it back up the middle of the field. He has more power in the tank and he begins to utilize his entire lower 1/2 throughout the swing. Winter (2020 grad) has upside and a solid all-around skill-set that will play at the next level.
10/17/2018 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic
Miles continues to show as a prospect on the diamond with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the MIF, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays smooth / clean actions. He attacks ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but he will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a plus feel for the barrel through a line drive approach. Power will continue to improve as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great attitude and is very coachable as he works hard to be the best player he can be.

Miles is an athletic SS/C prospect who will graduate in 2020. In the field, Miles covers ground well and fields in a low position. He makes a clean exchange and has a quick release on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. Miles can improve as a SS by being more aggressive moving to the ball. Behind the plate, Miles shows quick footwork and blocks well to his glove side. He receives with a soft glove and makes a clean exchange to throw. He gains momentum well on his throws to 2B and keeps them accurate and on-line to the bag. Miles can improve as a C by setting up in a lower stance. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is fluid getting into his load and leads well with his lower half. He gets good extension through the ball and produces consistent contact to all fields. Miles can improve as a hitter by taking a level swing path. Overall, Miles is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

Miles is a lean built SS/C prospect who has a talented skill set. Offensively, Miles has an open stance with a centered balance. He has fluid rhythm with a good load and square stride as his lower half leads his swing. Miles gets good extension and consistently lands the barrel to the baseball. He is a line drive type hitter who has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. In the field, Miles plays hard and makes the routine plays. He covers good ground and fields the ball in a low position with firm hands. Miles has a clean exchange leading into a loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. He has a quick release showing consistently strong throws across the diamond. Behind the plate, Miles has a solid setup and plays the position athletically. He receives the ball with soft hands and has good glove awareness. He has a clean exchange and short arm action. Miles has good momentum through his release throwing from a 3/4 arm slot showing accurate throws down to 2B. Overall, Miles is a versatile prospect who has skill on both sides of the ball.

Miles is a lean 2B/RHP who will graduate in 2020. At 2B, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active in working to square balls up but needs to attack more and play through with his body. Glove action is soft / clean and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a compact swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 68-70 mph with tailing action. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and plays the game hard. With 3 years to further develop, Miles has potential with time and room to progress his game.
