10/17/2021 - All-In Membership - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Milo is a C prospect who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to add throughout. Behind the plate, he showed quick feet and good lateral movement. Presents a low target and tracks ball to mitt with ability to stick the baseball. Good direction to second base, with a clean exchange, working into a high 3/4 release point with accurate/on-line throws to second base. Arm velocity was up to 82mph and his best pop time was 2.0 seconds. Creates good blocking angles with the ability to smother the baseball. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. A smooth swing, with looseness to hands, and good barrel control. Direct barrel path as he made square contact to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 81mph during BP. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Milo having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
