02/06/2022 - All-In Membership - Sugar Land (Houston), TX Myles is an OF/2B who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame lean build with strength present and room to add strength throughout. In the OF, showed athletic actions with ability to make routine plays. Tries to work behind the ball with a 1 hand catch and a clean exchange. A whippy arm action as he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and arm velocity up to 77mph into infield. In the infield, he creates good fielding angles, with efficient feet, and tracks the baseball to his glove. He fields from an athletic/square fielding position with his hands out front. He made accurate and on-line throws to first base. Showed good touch on his DP feeds. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and closed stance. He gets knob to C and swings with intent. Hit balls hard to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball field.

01/06/2019 - Interactive Video Program - San Antonio, TX Myles is a 2B/OF prospect who will graduate in 2024. At 2B, Myles shows fluid footwork and flashes good lateral range. He works to make accurate throws and gets good carry through his target. In the OF, Myles shows active footwork and is aggressive attacking the ball. He fields the ball out in front of his body and makes a clean exchange, working to make accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He drives his lower half through well and produces solid contact to all fields. Overall abilities can improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
