07/29/2017 - Under Armour All-America Game, Powered by Baseball Factory The switch-hitting Nander is one of the most well-rounded prospects in the country. He has quality tools across the board, showing an excellent feel to hit with flashes of power from both sides of the plate. Defensively, Nander has efficient feet, very sure hands and easy arm strength across the diamond. He has an advanced internal clock allowing him to play the game at the proper pace, something fairly difficult for many young players. Committed to FSU, Nander is a premium infield prospect.

06/14/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida This athletic MIF shows a tremendous future on the diamond with the makings of a special type player at the next level. A switch hitter - hands are quick (94 mph exit velocity) as he squares the ball up consistently driving it on a line. Defensively, he takes a quick first step (6.81 60 time) and has plus lateral range. He creates angles around the GB with fluid actions. DP turns are quick with zip (92 mph velocity) on his throws. Defensive abilities are at a pro level as he shows big play potential. Nander has a ton of upside and possesses the skill-set that will play at a very high level and will be a solid 2018 draft pick.

09/17/2016 - 2016 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures East Nander is an exciting young prospect with tools across the board and the ability to use them in games. It is rare to see such a young player with the maturity and poise on the field that Nander possesses. He plays under control at all times and has excellent instincts, complete with an internal clock that is on display most when he fields ground balls. His hands are soft and sure and there is plenty of arm strength there (94 mph), but on most routine plays he shows a quick exchange and a firm, accurate throw to 1B - preferring to only air it out when he needs to do so. There is a confidence about him that is reassuring to his pitcher and teammates. As a hitter, Nander shows a coordinated stroke from both sides of the plate. He finds the barrel regularly and has rhythm and natural hitting actions. He appears to have slightly more power from the RH side, but can drive the ball either way. He is quiet and efficient at the plate just like he is in the field. Look for Nander to continue to turn heads with a polished all-around game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
