Nander is an exciting young prospect with tools across the board and the ability to use them in games. It is rare to see such a young player with the maturity and poise on the field that Nander possesses. He plays under control at all times and has excellent instincts, complete with an internal clock that is on display most when he fields ground balls. His hands are soft and sure and there is plenty of arm strength there (94 mph), but on most routine plays he shows a quick exchange and a firm, accurate throw to 1B - preferring to only air it out when he needs to do so. There is a confidence about him that is reassuring to his pitcher and teammates. As a hitter, Nander shows a coordinated stroke from both sides of the plate. He finds the barrel regularly and has rhythm and natural hitting actions. He appears to have slightly more power from the RH side, but can drive the ball either way. He is quiet and efficient at the plate just like he is in the field. Look for Nander to continue to turn heads with a polished all-around game.
