12/20/2015 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 1 Nate is a great kid and very coachable player that makes adjustments with a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and aggressive as he attacks balls through a direct/level swing path. He has strength in his swing with the baseball jumping off the bat when centered and will continue to improve as he works to get his stride foot down sooner. At 3B, he works to square balls up, displaying clean hands. He moves well laterally and will benefit by increasing foot quickness and presenting hands more out front. Hands/feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with life, accuracy, and on line carry across the diamond. On the mound, he shows a live arm with life on his fastball. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Control is a plus as he attacks hitters, throwing strikes with all his pitches through a repeatable delivery. With 5 years to further develop, Nate has the makings of a special type player and will be fun to follow, possibly as a two-way player.
