Nathan is an athletic and talented 2025 Catching prospect with a ton of energy on the field. Behind the dish, Nathan starts in a quiet primary stance, he presents a low/early target, but he needs to continue to work behind the ball when receiving. When blocking, he needs to continue anticipate the ball in the dirt, lead with his glove, and create an angle over the ball with his chest. When throwing, Nathan has a clean exchange and has a strong arm. At the plate, Nathan starts in a closed stance, he keeps the barrel on plane to the ball, and has good pitch recognition. He uses his lower half and has a line drive approach. He needs to continue to load hands back into the drive position and continue to get his front foot down on time. Nathan will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
