09/19/2021 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Nathan is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build with strength present. In the OF, he starts with active/efficient footwork and ability to make routine plays. Good 1st step reads enable him to flip his hips and go back on balls. He works behind and through the baseball with a high 1 hand catch. Showed a clean exchange working into a 3/4 release point and an arm velocity up to 69mph through cut off man. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an athletic and closed stance. Has a short/direct barrel path with ability to keep hands inside baseball. Made contact to the opposite field with a bat exit velocity up to 74mph during BP. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we see Nathan having a bright future on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
