Foot speed is above average as indicated by his 7.03 60 time and he utilizes his quick feet well through throwing process. He shows a smooth transition with his feet and hands as indicated by his low pop time of 2.00. Arm strength is solid average and he will benefit by getting on a long toss program to aid in further developing more arm strength. Receiving skills are near above average through a solid set up with quiet, soft glove action. Blocking skills are solid average as he gets down and around the baseball quickly, deadening balls in front. At the plate, Sanchez has near above average abilities with average power. Hands are quick and direct to the baseball, staying through after contact. He shows a solid feel for the barrel with power numbers increasing as he learns to utilize his lower half more efficiently through the swing. Nathan has a ton of potential and will catch the eyes of some collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.
